This year SPOT Film gives out two awards – one for the best fiction film and one for best documentary film. 8 films compete in each category.
“We’ve selected films from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and even the Faroe Islands, for our two festival programs. Each and every one is filled to the brim with fantastic narratives and great film making talent. They really are an example of the great storytellers and filmmakers, we have in new Nordic fiction and documentary film making”, says Frederik Sølberg, film curator of SPOT Film.
The winner is found from a jury consisting of Pernille Fischer Christensen, Janus Metz and Chris Tidman, who will award the custom made SPOT Film Award, created by Pernille Kofoed, to the winning films during the great award show held Sunday night at Øst for Paradis.
