Saturday May 2nd, SPOT Film invites all film enthusiasts to a free pitching workshop in Remisen on Godsbanen. The event is open to everyone, and reservation is not necessary.
12.00: Pitching Workshop with David Pope, London Film Academy
A good idea for a film is not necessarily enough, if you don’t know how to pitch it properly. On this workshop, David Pope from London Film Academy will provide you with valuable insight into the art of selling your story. The workshop aims to prepare you as much as your pitch, with tips and skills designed to build your confidence, intuition and ability to individually tailor the pitch for the person who is listening.

14.00: MSP – music videos
30 students from the BA programme VIA Multiplatform Storytelling and Production have produced music videoes with Astronaut, FAE, Jacobløberhjemmefra, Kvindebandet, Unkwon og The Boy That Got Away. The premiere and reception is open to everyone.

16.00: Brothers In Arms + Q&A
Odense International Film Festival (OFF) and SPOT Film presents the praised animated short film Brothers In Arms directed by Cav Bøgelund. The platoon commander Ørn, whose collaboration with the local Chief of Police, Fareed, is put to the ultimate test. The screening is followed by a Q&A with Cav Bøgelund, director of OFF, Birgitte Weinberger, and Martin Tamm Andersen, who has been stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan and who has provided the background story for the film. The Q&A will be held in Danish.
