Ørn is a platoon commander in Afghanistan who cooperates with the local Chief of Police, Fareed. Across their cultural boundaries, the two men fight side by side in the war-torn country. Their collaboration is put to the ultimate test as distrust looms under the surface.
The screening of Brothers in Arms is followed by a Q&A with director Cav Bøgelund, Head of OFF, Birgitte Weinberger, and Private First Class, Martin Timm Andersen, who has been stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and who provided the film’s raw footage.
The screening is presented by Odense International Film Festival in collaboration with SPOT Festival.
