The Cabin Project is the result of the collaboration between the two childhood friends and songwriters Kira Skov and Maria Fisker. For their SPOT concert they have joined forces with video artists Helene Nymann and Diana T. Møller. They have created a visual interpretation of the band’s songs that takes the shape of an erotic and abstract story of mental landscapes, memory, and bodily movements.
The Cabin Project has obvious roots in the classic singer/songwriter style of Leonard Cohen infused with a dash of playful audacity. Their acclaimed 2014 debut album produced by Mark Howard (Bob Dylan, Marianne Faithfull, etc.) was proclaimed one of this decade’s best Danish albums by the music magazine Gaffa.
