Pulse-like beats, enchanting vocals, and the soft, haunting sound of the clarinet combine to form a beautiful and decidedly Icelandic sound. They took Iceland with storm – much to the surprise of the trio whose aspirations were to ‘wear funny costumes and (…) get a gig at a bar in Reykjavik‘. Now Samaris have been touring Europe, playing at e.g. Sonar, Berlin Music Week, Electric Picnic and JaJaJa in London.
