The 2015 edition of SPOT Festival was a tremendous success. A preliminary assessment of the festival is indeed positive: Increased ticket sales, the greatest ever music business turn-out and plenty of praise for both the music line-up and the film programme, the organisation of the event, sound, stages and not least SPOT+, the new networking and conference area for the music business and media people.
Apart from the music (205 concerts) and films, the SPOT+ area in particular was to everybody’s liking, a convenient meeting point close to all the venues, a networking area and a pleasant venue for the international conference programme.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank our international guests for their commitment to the festival and for your part in making the festival such a success.
We would also like to thank Believe Digital, MaMA Festival, Glimps, IMMF – International Mjusic Managers Forum, and Sonic Visions for their enthusiasm and professionalism when hosting dedicated receptions and networking meetings in the SPOT+ area.
A preliminary count shows that 1,500 music business and media people were present at SPOT 2015, more than 300 of whom were international, half of these from Germany.
